belated bday celebrationwent out for dinner + drinks with the msians as a belated bday celebration. guys'night out.
we had dinner at a new jap restaurant in raffles city, shokudo. then shopped for jeffrey's gf's bday present, and headed to timbre2 for a drink after that. it's amazing that we're all still so close to one another after so many yrs. we practically grew up together. we all agreed that we're like 'family' to one another.
thanks bros for making time to celebrate despite the hectic schedule. really appreciate it. it was a fun night feasting, drinking and cam whore-ing.

i admit, i've been rather depressed ever since i got the mail from the scholarship department regarding my probation. but somehow i realized that this depression will never get me any closer to passing this probation. i still wanna be an asean scholar after these 6 years. i just need some determination, some self esteem and some confidence to get through this.
it's time to inject some HOPE into life. so
'please do not give up hope so that i won't give up hope as well'. and i'm thankful for ppl ard me who're always there to give me the encouragement that i need. =)

i've been so occupied with things that i missed a lot of s41's gathering, bday parties etc. haven't met them for so long. it's really not that i wanna live in my small little world and shut myself away from the rest. glad that i make it for daryl's 21st. =) finally get to meet some of the s41 ppl. and please do no forget abt me even if i go missing in action. i'm just somewhere ard. either in hall, engine or biz lib. haha.

sheares production 07/08i'm just glad that it's over. a lot has happened for the past 3 months. fun times, sad times, frustrated times, etc. too much emotions involved. the stress, the unfair treatment, the unhappiness, the dreadfulness, the sleepless nights, the questioning of self for doing it 2 yrs in a row, the bitching sessions, the complaints, the whinings, the countless times of breaking down, the misunderstanding etc. despite all these, the last week would be a memorable one. i was happy when people praised our sets, i was happy that the whole team can stand together to pull through the tough times together although we were always the forgotten one, i was happy for the existence of some members who never fail to entertain the rest, i was happy that everyone could bond so well, i was happy that we're all part of sheares production sets 07/08. we built toad hall, the layer of forests, badger house, rat house, car, caravan, train, boat/barge, judge stand that took us more than 3 months. i know i didn't help out much during term time. i was occupied with tests and assignments. i hope people understands my condition.

it was a busy week. but glad that ppl remembered. was at sets area at midnight, helping out with the sets team when kane came over to call me. then the whole grp of blk c ppl was at the dining area with a cake. so sweet of them. cindy came along also. =) thanks everyone for celebrating with me.

cny
yes, i know. i've been MIA-ing ever since the sem started. well, the past 6 weeks have been rather packed. really packed. i shall condense everything into 1 post. so it shall be a long long one! haha. just scroll down for pictures if it's too much for u. =)
first celebrated cny with sheares hall. formal dinner at comm hall. sang wu ding for aca. kinda screwed up the performance a bit. sighs. i still get stage fright when there're distractions.
went home for cny. it's always good to spend time with family. and i love the cny mood. food, fire crackers, family, friends, lion dance etc. just thought that it would be nicer if it's a bit longer despite the fact that i spent most of my time finishing up my assignments and catching up on webcasts instead of meeting up with friends and going visiting.

as for haven mentoring programme, we organized a home visit to daniel and tingyun's place. daniel's place was nice. had a pool side breakfast cum snack party. haha. hope that the kids like these visits. and i'm glad that the other volunteers are there to help me out especially when i have so hectic schedule. really thankful. =) and many thanks to tingyun's family for sponsoring lunch and opening up their home for the visit.
