left with less than 3 weeks to sheares orientation. from now till then i'll be pretty busy with swoc stuff.. handling all the international students checking in to hall.. i got a kid to tuition in west coast area. and i have mentoring stuff to be busy about. christopher passed down the mentor coordinator job to me. i still have blk comm stuff to do. seniors' farewell, and things during orientation.
sigh.
sometimes i wonder, why am i still involved in hall stuff. this shall be my busiest period. i've been telling myself not to join anymore hall stuff after all these end. concentrate on studies. that's wat i need to do.
on a side note, i'll have a lot of 'visitors' next week!
zee will be in singapore with 2 of her friends from her uni in moscow, tjen and liz..
eunice au will be with them to sg too! for SAJC dance concert.

dwee will be in sg for 2 weeks!! wheeeeeee! i miss that girl so much. haven't seen her for more than a year... she's gonna bring for me loads of things from indo. hehe.. right dwee??
cindy will be backkkkkk from indo!! yay! i miss cindy so much. haven't seen her for abt 3 months? faster come back and settle modules with me!!
break from my 2nd camp this hols. FWC, organized by the chem engin student society.. surprisingly, it was funnnnn! hahaha. i wasn't expecting a lot from this camp, and it turned out to be good. personally i think it was better than the sheares exposure camp, aka SECC. maybe because my own expectation for secc was too high. and maybe because i can work better with the other councillors for FWC. campers were super enthusiastic.. and our group bonded very well. although we were the slackest group.. no sense of urgency for all the games, i believe all of us had a lot of fun, taking loads of pictures during the amazing race, and at every station games.. we're all cam whores! played a lot of games, with a lot of forfeits.. haha. and i get to know more chem engin ppl that i've never seen b4. it's either i've never been for classes and lectures often enough, or they've never been for classes often enough. i've never seen most of them in the comm, and the other councillors. haha.

i have so many things to blog about!
1. Outing with convent classmates! =)
met up with form 1, 2, 3 classmates. it was quite a funny group gathering. rather random. haha. just called up random ppl who're ard. arathi just came back from perth. she was telling us interesting stories abt her singaporean and sabahan housemate. still as lame as ever. jolene's appearance was considered the most surprising of all. a lot of ppl commented that the last time they saw her she was still in school uniform. great gathering. lots of updates from ppl!

eunice, zee and wanfen stayed over at my place on one fri night. zee came in the morning. then we made a cheesecake while waiting for the other 2 to come.
souvenir from russia! it's this small little doll which can open up to 9 others in it. so cool! love it loads. so amazed. the last one is only abt 3mm long. super amazing handcraft. thanks zee! =)
they were cutting fruits after dinner when they decided to decorate the fruits with watermelon skin. wanfen and zee were trying to shape the watermelon skin into shapes of leaves. haha.
eunice was busy eating away while the two of them were busy with their deco.. haha.. pig pig...

oh, another present from zee. it's 3 bracelets with the words, best friends forever. so me, eunice and zee have one each. haha. i took the 'forever' one.
all 4 of us crammed on one bed that night. haha. but middle of the night, zee got 'kicked' out of the bed by wanfen. hahaha. she ended up sleeping in the other room. hahah. poor thing.
then we went for bah kut teh breakfast!
3. Out with tianglim and eddie
was supposed to go to east coast to cycle.. but ended up at clarke quay.. went to hooters. quite an interesting restaurant. it was my first time there. the waitresses at the restaurant were supposed to be sexy.. but err.. those that we saw looked more like philipino maids. hahahahaha...
4. Mentors appreciation ceremony
hahah, basically it was a dim sum treat by daniel, the man funding our mentoring program. semi-formal occasion with the other volunteers from jc... we were the most noticeable grp, cause we have a dress code. haha..
my dog sleeps a lot in the afternoon. in a lot of very cute positions and everywhere. the living room, dining room, under the table, under the chair.. etc... haha. when i'm too bored in the afternoon i'll start to disturb my dog. haha. take a lot of funny pictures.
went for convent's hari keusahawanan, aka canteen day.. it was super crowded.. and i was with my younger brother. met some ex-classmates and ex-students.. it was quite nice, except that it was super stuffy.. especially with the crowd. and some of the teachers kinda recognised me. haha, but mostly gave the, 'you-look-familiar' look. others recognised me as, yeanmay's sister.
the usual ghost house, song dedication, food etc.. nothing particularly special. somehow, i miss the carefree life back then in school.
